I first got a crush on Johnny Lee Miller when he played Sick Boy in Trainspotting. I don’t know if it was the peroxide hair, or the bad boy thing, but I thought he was lovely… I also loved him in the (massively underrated) Hackers – the film where he met his future wife (OK, ex-wife) Angelina Jolie.
And while he has popped up here and there (most memorably for me in Mansfield Park) it was my great pleasure to fall in love with him all over again in Emma as it screened on BBC1, over the past 4 weeks.
Sure, there’s nothing like an Austen hero to make a girl’s heart flutter, but come on – the guy married Angelina Jolie! And he looked pretty good in those britches!
I think he might be knocking on the door of the top 5 once again!
